Rodeo Austin is proud to announce an exciting new fall event – Bulltober Fest. Bulltober Fest will take place October 28, 2017 at the Rodeo Austin grounds.

Bulltober Fest is an Austin original event featuring beer, food trucks, live music and outdoor festival fun. To add in a little Rodeo Austin flare, Bulltober Fest will feature the original battle of man vs. beast – American Freestyle Bullfighting by Bullfighters Only. Imagine athletes flying over bulls and missing the hook of a horn by just inches… This action packed competition showcases the top 12 ultimate athletes (bullfighters) facing off against the toughest bulls around in a bracket style tournament for their chance at $25,000.

Bulltober Fest also includes beer, live music and local Austin food trucks – Wagyu on Wheels, Gebby’s BBQ, Texas Chili Queens, and The Green Machine. There will be two live concerts by Troy Cartwright and Dirty River Boys after the bullfighting performance.

Admission is $30 for adults and $10 for kids. There are also a limited number of VIP tickets available for $100. Parking is free. Doors open at 4:40 p.m. Tickets are on sale now and can be purchased at

Proceeds from Bulltober Fest go toward Rodeo Austin’s mission of Promoting Youth Education – Preserving Western Heritage. In 2017, Rodeo Austin awarded over $2 million to the youth of Texas.
