Bridget Taylor is back in Austin!!  Welcome back to the airwaves! We couldn’t be happier to have her calling 105.3 THE BAT home!

Weekdays from 2-7pm

Bridget Taylor, a true Austin original, first hit the air in 1982 on the now extinct B-93. For 25 years she has entertained Austinites with her quick wit, amazing sense of humor & down-to-earth personality.

Although she was born in Germany, Bridget came to the states when she was 3 and her family quickly made Central Texas home. Raised in a family of 4 kids, she quickly adapted to life at Fort Hood, where her father eventually retired as an Army Captain, they called Ft. Hood home for many years.

Bridget fell in love with radio at age 10 when she visited a local mall where a huge juke box on wheels, rolled into the parking lot. Once the KIXS DJ handed over one of their promo records, she was hooked! The record, which she still owns, included Classic Hits like “Family Affair” by Sly & The Family Stone & “Jeremiah Was a Bullfrog” by Three Dog Night.

Bridget is single-handedly raising 2 boys, 14 and 18, and their furbaby, Zuko.  When not fueling other people’s souls with music and chatter, Bridget  enjoys camping, fishing, festivals & fairs. Her idea of a good time is filling her car with her favorite tunes & hitting the road!  You’ll find everything from country to rock ‘n roll & everything in between! Turn it up…sing it loud!  “Music feeds my soul and fuels my life.”  BT

Bridget burns with passion for radio! She loves that she can have more freedom in her life and help others in unexpected and rewarding ways. She loves putting smiles on people’s faces and believes is that laughter is key. Knowing that she might have made you laugh while listening to her show; that is what makes her extra-ordinary job rewarding. Continue listening to Bridget on 105.3 The Bat and we guarantee you will learn something new every day! In her own words, “I am beautifully flawed & owning it!”
